No, it’s not a internet rumor…Thebe Neruda Kgositsile better known as Earl Sweatshirt is back! Days after Vince Staples teased Sweatshirt fans with a 23-second feature on his latest EP, ‘FUN!’, the rapper released his new single titled ‘Nowhere2Go’.

Sweatshirt took a hiatus from the Hip Hop scene, and a lot has happened in his life ever since his last album, I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside was released in 2015 per The Ringer. Not only did his father, South African legendary poet Keorapetse Kgositsile pass away in January, but his friend and fellow rapper Mac Miller also died in September.

Sweatshirt recently revealed to Zane Lowe that anxiety stopped him from releasing new music, citing ‘real-life’ being too noisy. Yet the Odd Future member is determined not to allow criticism to halt his latest project.

“I think that putting in a conscious effort toward completing thoughts is highly important right now,”

I guess the only question left is when is the new album coming out? No date has been revealed yet, but Sweatshirt pretty much confirmed a new album is definitely on the way in the most Earl way possible.

“I’m not a single-ass nigga,”
